Courage Is Contagious Charity Event

Jayne Pope, CEO of Hill Country Memorial, and Pat Murray, CEO of Peterson Regional Medical Center holding the Suzi Roher scarf titled “Courage is Contagious”.

Schreiner Goods is hosting the “Courage is Contagious” charity event to raise money for our local hospitals’ breast cancer services for women.  This event is inspired by designer, Suzi Roher, who created a very special scarf to honor courageous women everywhere.  This scarf, titled “Courage Is Contagious”, is meant to offer hope and comfort to women facing difficulty of many kinds.

The two day event will consist of a private invitation only evening of style and food hosted by Schreiner Goods on Thursday, October 27th.  This private event will be followed by an open to the public trunk show event on Friday, October 28th.

Join us at Schreiner Goods on Friday, October 28th for a Charity Trunk Show featuring Suzi Roher, Armenta Jewelry, and Plus Modern Skin.  There will be a Fall Style Show at 12p with light bites and drinks.
Meet Suzi Roher and have your scarf signed by her, see the new fall collection from Armenta Jewelry, and meet two time breast cancer survivor Ann Leggett the developer of Plus Modern Skin.

At the end of the two day event, $100 of every “Courage Is Contagious” scarf sold and 10% of profits from sales during the events will be donated to Hill Country Memorial and Peterson Health for their cancer services for women.

We thank you for your support in helping us promote this event to our local community.  We desire to make this a fantastic Hill Country Charity Event that will benefit and up lift the courageous women in our community and raise money for services that are so important to early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Special Guests

Suzi Roher

suzi-brand Designer Suzi Roher creates her scarves and belts in the belief that women appreciate an element of fantasy. Whether classic in style or at the cutting edge of trend, these accessories have an aspirational quality. They invite the wearer to embrace those things that make her unique.

“The accessory business is driven on innovation,” Roher has said, “and that’s what our company is all about. Being on the leading edge of construction, new materials, design, and quality. Innovation and quality are always in style.”

Emily Armenta

emilyarmenta_headshotI come from a family of artists so I was introduced to beautiful works of art at a very young age. Surrounded by artists, I have always had a lot of support to express myself through my art work. As a result, I have been designing, sketching, and working with stones ever since I was a young girl and it has always been a passion of mine. Designing jewelry has not only been a vehicle for me to express my creativity, but also my thoughts and emotions.

Emily Armenta designs in 18K and 22K yellow gold, 18K rose gold, and “midnight” oxidized sterling silver with diamonds and gemstones which eludes a feel that is rugged yet refined. It is Armenta’s unique, modern approach to jewelry design, which defines her signature look.
